British Army 37 Pattern Webbing Cross Straps
Grading Explained
We sell both new and used military goods.
Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
Issued to British and Commonwealth troops during the Second World War, these original 37 Pattern cross straps are the literal backbone of the webbing set. Made from robust khaki canvas and secured with brass fittings, they were designed to carry the Pattern 37 webbing while on campaign keeping it firm on the shoulders. Highly sought after by collectors and reenactors, these pouches remain a timeless symbol of wartime service and craftsmanship.
