Grading Explained
We sell both new and used military goods.
Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
Its Rare that we get original wartime items in such a large quantity. These 100% cotton drill jackets were made in the 1940's as part of their class 3 tropical uniform. these jackets were worn by senior ratings and officers of the royal navy during the second world war and some have even seen post war service as indicated by the use of trade and length of service patches on the sleeves.
These have been in storage since the 50's and so are not as white as they once were, often having some yellowing or staining from use due to the stains we have Reduced the Price.
These jackets would be perfect for overdying to get a really nice unique 1940's chore jacket or cleaning up and rewhitening for a crisp clean look ready for summer
