Original East German NVA UTV field jacket, forming part of the late-Cold War Universale Tragevorrichtung (UTV) equipment system. Developed during the final years of the GDR, the UTV system was intended to modernise the NVA's field equipment and provide a more practical, modular approach to carrying personal kit.
Featuring the distinctive East German Strichtarn camouflage and a more modern cut than the earlier NVA field uniforms, these jackets are an interesting piece of late-Cold War East German military equipment.
these have a bit more of a classic relaxed fit and so have a bit of play in the sizing. For example the 38 will fit up to a 42" chestĀ
