Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:

  • Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
  • Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
  • Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.

New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.

Dutch Black Deployment Bergen
The holdall bag for Dutch Forces. Has a volume of around 90-100L and is a long tubular bag. Can be carried like a rucksack with the padded shoulder straps, which is quite comfy and close to your centre of gravity. Chest strap makes it nice and secure when walking. Two side pockets with velcro for quick storage.

I bought one of these in the absence of the British equivalent (of which I already have one in use), so this is very much a comparison of the two.
Likes:
Well-made, came clean with new tags. The method of hiding the straps away is very clever and tidy - better than the Brit, which has the straps dangling all the time (unless I'm missing something obvious). Handle is large and comfortable, ready to carry even when loaded up.
Dislikes: shorter and fatter than the Brit version, which is a problem for my particular usage. No end pockets or grab handles - again, a reflection of my usage. Main bag handle straps don't go all the way round, so longevity may be an issue.
I ended up buying another of the Brit ones, and passed this one on to my youngest as a travel kit bag.

You can go to Sport Direct and pay £125 for chinese garbage which will fall to bits in a week, or buy one of these which is nigh on indestructible for £30 incl post. Huge capacity, quality zips & fastenings. It'll out-live me! Highly recommended. Quick delivery too. Much appreciated, team!

Military surplus comes in bulk lots — we can’t choose sizes.

Smaller sizes are more common; larger ones are rare and sell out fast.

Restocks depend on military releases, so they can take time.

Using your store credit is quick and easy:
