Grading Explained

We sell both new and used military goods.

Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:

  • Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
  • Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
  • Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.

New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.

Grade : Super Grade

This is the PLCE British Army Day Pack featuring the DPM woodland camouflage pattern. Introduced some time around the 80’s during the falklands war, these were developed along with help from Berghaus. Featuring lots of YKK plastic heavy duty zips and hardwearing cordura fabric, this day pack is a serious bit of hard wearing kit.

The day pack consists of the two side pouches from the PLCE dpm bergen.

This is an original piece of Army surplus kit and could have been used by serving personnel, may have small marks or fading.

One of the sacks was even more ancient looking than its partner with a finger sized rip in the bottom which I've stitched and stuck a waterproof patch on the inside of. Also one of the zips had jumped some teeth and I had to pop them back in before it would unzip. But despite these little issues it's completely functional and possibly indestructible. No complaints for the price. All good...

Excellent quality think it was super grade ideal addition to my bergan and as a side by side pack as my, daughter has claimed my old one for her gym bag already so had to get another, when asked she simply said clean and sweaty in two separate parts

The pouches have plenty of life left in them,went to fit them to the yoke to find out they didn't fit! A quick email to sales and the correct yoke was in the next post and on my doorstep a day later. Great service and item thanks goarmy

handy for small needs

If 20L of space is all you need then this is a cheap and effective method of achieving this storage space. These are thick sacks with big thick quality zipping (much better than the smaller zipped Dutch bergens). One of my sacks had a damaged zip but it still works fine. These are well used looking but have zero tears and the inside of mine was quite new looking considering the outside. You won't get this cheaper anywhere else. I used one of the rocket pockets inside my Dutch bergen to help triple insulate my large bundle of fire tinder. It depends on your needs if you want this, personally I prefer a proper Dutch bergen.

I bought this set as I have a British Army Long Back DPM Bergen. It needed some side pouches. The price of this day pack is as cheap as one rocket pouch off fleaBay. But here I get two pouches and a yolk. So get to camp, drop the Bergen off for the day with a 20 plus litre back pack. Excellent

Military surplus comes in bulk lots — we can’t choose sizes.

Smaller sizes are more common; larger ones are rare and sell out fast.

Restocks depend on military releases, so they can take time.
