Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:

  • Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
  • Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
  • Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.

New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.

1st order, i wore for one hour and the sole came away from the boot. Replacement pair sent to me, same is happening again after a few weeks of use. Shame, as they are very comfy.

Great work boots.

Quite a heavy boot but you get used to them. Not very flexible at first use however after copious amounts of dubbin they soon soften.

Overall very comfortable

Worn straight out the box at work 12 hour shifts in below 0c temperatures no blisters, obviously new boots need some breaking in as they are quite stiff first few hours I felt like Herman Munster walking round in them but they do loosen off only issue some rubbing from the top of the boots think I need longer socks to stop that. But in short Yes I would recommend these boots thinking of getting a second pair, and I received the boots the same week as ordering them

These appear to be very well made and strong boots. Out of the box they are as rigid as old school walking boots- but comfortable!. After a couple of days wearing inside the house and a half an hour jog around the compound they went on an hour's excursion with a twenty kilo pack-not a hint of a blister. They have orthopedic style insoles which is a first for me with military boots. I am not a fan of the anti slip lace loops half way up the boots as I find that they get jammed up with mud making them hard to get off when your hands are freezing cold, wet and muddy; but a small price to pay for an awesome pair of boots. Put it this way, I am no longer saving up for a pair of Altbergs.

Excellent Boots

Really pleased with these boots, I have had them through all sorts of wet and mud and they clean up spotless, also and more importantly they are really comfortable and dry.

For the price and the quality, these boots are a steal. Very stiff ideal for the mountains, and despite not being my favourite vibram sole very grippy. I’ve replaced the insoles with sorbothene double shocks and installed Kevlar laces. These are very stable platform to walk on, great ankle stability and foot fitting. Now comes the breaking in, they are house slippers at the moment, then 20 miles of gentle dog walking.

As described, brand new in the box. The boots seem to be constructed to a very high standard and have been easy to break in making them a good comfortable waterproof boot.

Smaller sizes are more common; larger ones are rare and sell out fast.
