Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
Austria is pretty well known for two things, skilled mountain climbing and precise engineering. these Alpine Pioneer boots are truly at the Centre of the Venn diagram.
Made for the Alpin Pioniere, these boots are custom made for a small contingent such as pioniere batalion 2 "Salzburg". These troops conduct military engineering projects in mountainous conditions and have often been roped in to prepare the slopes in Kitzbuhel in Austria ahead of the "Streif" the world cup down hill ski slope often thought to be the most challenging on earth.
These boots reflect the units hardy attitude to the task at hand and are made to stand up to grueling work. Features include
- High leg design for additional ankle support
- Antistatic Nitril Soles for increased grip and safety in working environments
- Glove leather lining for increased comfort and warmth
- Steel Toe cap for maximum safety
Grades:
Grade 1: Used condition, in excellent condition
Grade 2: Used, may have some damage on the upper leathers, rips and small holes
