Keeping products in use for longer naturally reduces waste, and that principle sits at the heart of everything we do.

Within our own operations, we actively look for opportunities to minimise waste through reduced packaging, recycling initiatives and the use of paper-based and compostable packaging materials wherever practical.

In January 2026 we completed our first carbon footprint baseline report. Our total footprint of 6.54 tonnes of CO₂e is roughly equivalent to the annual energy consumption of around one and a half average UK households.

Ambitions to repair where possible, and repurpose where not
One of the strengths of surplus is that usefulness rarely ends with a product's original purpose.
As part of our ongoing commitment to extending product life, we are exploring opportunities to repair damaged stock wherever practical, and to develop new ways to repurpose materials that can no longer return to service in their original form.
We are investigating future partnerships and product development opportunities that help quality materials stay in use for longer.
