British Army issue soft thermal trousers for British Forces. As part of the layered clothing system, this is to be worn with the standard issue combat trousers in extreme cold temperatures. Mostly though it was used as a way to keep warm outside of active duty and when soldiers were having recreational time.

If you buy any of our army surplus products then all the packaging will be plastic free. With army surplus you minimise the environmental impact of producing new clothes and reduce plastic waste.
With our new items there may be plastic packing which comes from the supplier themselves.
Although we are not totally plastic free (but pretty close) our goal is to reduce our plastic waste as much as possible and will continue to do so going into the future.

If returning an item for a refund we charge £2 for the return label which is taken from the refund amount.
We accept returns / exchanges from 30 days of the order date. Items must be in original condition to be accepted for returns. A refund is given within 1-2 days of receiving the returned item.
International order must arrange thier own return postage which is non-refundable.
We ordered medium for my partner who is 32 inch waist they were enormous nearer 48 inch waist. As they were cheap and good quality and to go under building overalls we got round by threading elastic and drawing them in. They are very warm but the sizing needs to be explained. There must be some huge soldiers out there as this was the smallest size!
Sizing is probably based around going over trousers so order normal waist imo as they would be loose on their own

Really warm trousers, literally feels like you’ve got a heater on your legs. Really soft and comfortable too. As per other reviews they do size up on the larger side. I am 5’10” and 13st with a 34” waist and I bought medium. Small would probably have fit with nothing underneath, but they are overtrousers so medium is perfect for me. I originally bought the new version soft thermal trousers in large but they were massive and the Velcro fastenings did nothing to adjust them. I prefer these miles more with really effective waist and ankle elastic and no Velcro, they are better in every way. Love them!
