Survive To Fight (Task 17) Defecation Procedure Postcard
Grading Explained
We sell both new and used military goods.
Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
Inspired by Task 17 of the British Army’s Survive to Fight NBC defence manual, this novelty postcard reproduces the wonderfully matter-of-fact world of Cold War military training, where even answering nature’s call required a procedure when wearing protective equipment.
Featuring our reproduction of the original instructional illustration, titled Defecation Procedure, it’s a gloriously absurd slice of military history that captures the Army’s unique approach to preparing for absolutely everything.
Perfect for military history enthusiasts, collectors of Cold War ephemera, or anyone who appreciates the sort of military humour that really doesn’t need much explaining.
A cracking little piece of military memorabilia — because even the end of the world doesn’t excuse poor procedure.
