Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:

  • Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
  • Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
  • Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.

New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.

Dutch Army Mess Set. This 2-piece stainless steel mess set is a must-have for any outdoor enthusiast. Measuring at approximately 185mm x 130mm x 65mm, it's the perfect size for on-the-go meals. Its Grade 1 used condition adds to its reliability and durability. Please note that it may have some staining from previous use.

Please note: The mess tins are constructed from Austenitic stainless steels: These are non-magnetic because they contain nickel and have an austenitic crystal structure

    Stainless steel dutch mess tins

    Great piece of kit, nice not to be eating out of aluminium tins. Good condition tins, just a little blackening on the base of tins, insides a little in need of a clean, but not unexpected with surplus kit. Definitely recommend if mess tins are your want.

    Smaller sizes are more common; larger ones are rare and sell out fast.
