Grading Explained
We sell both new and used military goods.
Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
The Iron curtain begins here. Direct from the Deutches Demokratische Republik of east Germany we have the strichtarn Combat shirt. Printed in Heavy cotton this bears the iconic strichtarn camo pattern. a true blast from the past these are guaranteed to last well into the future.
these have a bit more of a classic relaxed fit and so have a bit of play in the sizing. For example the 38 will fit up to a 42" chest
Features:
- DDR East German Strichtarn Combat Shirt: Features the iconic raindrop camo pattern
- Developed in East Germany: Replaced the Flächentarn camo
- Raindrop Pattern: Broken vertical red-brown lines on a grey-green field
- Issued to the National People's Army: Used from the 1960s to the 1990s
- Stamped NVA: Marked Nationale Volksarmee on the inside, some are faint / missing
- Classed as a Summer Shirt: Despite its relatively heavy-weight fabric
- Grade 1 used condition
