WW2 Original RAF Parachute Bag
Grading Explained
We sell both new and used military goods.
Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
A true piece of wartime aviation history, this RAF-style aircrew kit bag was widely used throughout the Second World War and is now iconic of Bomber Command
Made from heavy khaki canvas, it features the classic full-length reinforcing straps that wrap around the bag and form sturdy carry handles. The original “Lightning” brass zipper—a period detail prized by collectors—operates smoothly, while the interior retains its original flap sections for organized storage.
With honest wear that reflects its wartime service, this bag remains in very good condition and is fully usable today. A striking display piece and a practical, historically rich addition to any military or aviation collection.
