Bought these as a present for my daughter as I have Altberg boots so know how good they are.

These were Grade 1 but near perfect and look brand new after a quick rub over with leather grease and a buff.

Bought next size up as Altberg tend to be on small size

I have been wanting to try these boots but thought my chances would be slim as a size 3 normally.. I couldn't believe it, when they popped up just before Christmas so thank you Santa. Delivery was fast and well tracked.. When I opened the box I thought there was a mistake, as I had the ordered the grade 1 but they seem like Super Grade quality. There's not a mark on them and the soles show no signs of wear. I am completely chuffed with them.. I took the advice and went up a size to a 4 and there are a little big for me across the front and at the heel. With the help of a volume reducer insole and my thick Nordic socks they now fit perfectly.. The best money I've spent... Thank you GoArmy..

I didn't know what to expect as they boots are second hand. I purchased them for my daughters Army cadet survival weekend. The boots arrived and looked very well kept. My daughter said because they had been worn they were already broken in and didn't rub at all like with new shoes / boots. Great purchase and value for money

Quality leather waterproof boots with style and comfort . Decided to buy the used product for two reasons , price and because they would be “worn in “ and hopefully I would not have to use my feet for this task . They are so comfortable to wear and so well made . Although worn by another the wear and tear present was minimal . A good dubbin and some brown polish on the slightly scuffed toecaps and they looked new . Thank you for the great product

Have been Altberg fans for many years in this household, but they are pricey so it was my lucky day when I stumbled across the GoArmy website and found these at a fraction of the retail price. They arrived quickly and in 'as new' condition, no scuffs or scratches to be seen and the brand new laces and insoles are much appreciated. They are so comfortable, I'm delighted with them and they will serve me well. Highly recommend.....

Being used to fashion footwear, I'm blown away by the excellent fit and construction of my wide female Altberg Defender boots! No pressure on the toes at all. Sturdy but soft in all the right places, they even have a neat and tidy appearance that looks good with streetwear. I bought used, but they were in excellent shape...creased at the toe but no cracks or scuffs, the treads and laces were perfect, and very clean inside. There is lots of information online about how to properly clean and maintain these.

I was very excited to be receiving my new boots however to find after ordering and paying that they were out of stock I was totally gutted however the refund was very fast and I didn't have to wait or request anything it was all done on their side. Hopefully I will be fortunate enough to get a new pair of boots soon
