Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
When you think of the Royal Marines, this is probably the last piece of headdress that springs to mind. though its been part of their dress uniform for well over 100 years. The wolesley pith helmet's design dates back to the 1890's and was used as the de facto tropical headdress right up until 1948. It improved on the 1877 foreign service pith helmet with a new and updated design that was better suited for wearers to comfortably shoot at the prone position. in modernity however, these are only used now for full dress ceremonial uniforms and most notably by the royal marines band. These don't come to the market very often and are a highly sought after bit of kit.
This particular batch we got hold of sadly are without their ball top, face plate and kerb chain. meaning that while they are incomplete at their current build it means they make a perfect project piece for conversions to other regiment or restorations into their original boot-neck livery.

Grading
Grade 1: Without their ball top, face plate and kerb chain. May have some slight discolouration to the helmet, but minimal markings
Grade 2: Without their ball top, face plate and kerb chain. More significant markings and stain on the helmet and may have some damage to the inner liner of the helmet.
