First of all, it's modular, so comes in three pieces: a black compression sack (new), a green summer bag (new), and a thicker grey/light green bag which goes inside the summer bag and is secured with press studs. The last bag wasn't new, but the condition was very good and clean. The size is great, and I enjoyed the room to move about. Weight isn't too bad, and first impressions are it's very warm. It has a good length and the footbox has extra padding. The zips are smooth and top notch. I can see me using a liner and the heavier bag as my go to bag. And I'm sure a liner, even a fleece liner and the thin bag would do as a 2-4 season bag too for most people. I'm typically a side sleeper, so it will be interesting to see if I can actually do this in this bag as it is less of a mummy bag and more of a rectangle, which was my main reason for choosing this bag. It's a lot of bag for the money, and with different liners is even more flexible, and highly recommended. The measurements and weights seem accurate. Faultless service from goarmy.co.uk. as usual. I wish someone that has had the bag for a few years would post their experiences to cover things like breathability, moisture retention, liner movement, stuffing migration, the press studs and zips over time, warmth, weight when wet, drying times, flammability er cetera, because that stuff is the most important, and hardly ever covered. Even the YT link is a new bag using both bags and on a mild day. Hardly appropriate, but at least it's something, My bag, however has different coloured bags, and is much better in my opinion. The pale green/grey bag is a really nice colour in person,. It feels much softer than I anticipated too, Time will tell, but when all is said and done it's an official US army bag, so should last years. I have no regrets whatsoever in purchasing this bag. It's a solid 8/10 from me, and hopefully more, Time will tell. I'll let you know when the bag encounters rain and gets wet :-)
