Grading Explained
We sell both new and used military goods.
Used items
Used kit comes directly from military surplus and is graded as follows:
- Super Grade — Unissued or unused condition. The item is like new, but may not include its original packaging.
- Grade 1 — Previously issued and lightly used. Fully functional and ready for immediate use.
- Grade 2 — Heavier signs of use. Still serviceable, but may have visible defects such as small rips, stains, or minor damage to zips or fastenings.
New items
All new stock is sourced from suppliers worldwide and arrives factory-new, usually in original packaging.
In the post war years the Royal Airforce began to change the look of their uniforms. they stepped away from battledress and great coats and moved further toward service dress and this, the RAF overcoat. Made of a rich gaberdine these coats are single breasted and come with a classic revere collar dated as far back as 1948 up to the 1960's these are a great piece of post war history
PLEASE NOTE
Due to their age, these coats are in overall good condition but have some small repairs, nips and marks that proper vintage musk as they have been in storage since for the past 60 years so please do ensure to give them a quick steam and air out to remove any storage marks, Hence the reduced price
